FONDATION GISÈLE TISSIER – GRANDPIERRE – INSTITUT DE FRANCE
Created in 1795, the Institut de France’s mission is to offer the five Academies (Académie française, Académie des inscriptions et belles-lettres, Académie des sciences, Académie des beaux-arts, Académie des sciences morales et politiques) a harmonious framework to work on the improvement of letters, sciences and arts on a non-profit basis.
As an important patron of the arts, it encourages research and supports creation through the awarding of prizes, grants and subsidies. It is in this context that the Gisèle Tissier – Grandpierre – Institut de France Foundation supports Talents & Violon’celles.
