Residencies in T&V Home

Objectifs

The hosting of projects headed by violin and bow makers is perfectly in line with the missions of the Talents & Violon’celles association: preservation and enhancement of heritage, transmission, support for violin and bow making, excellence, sharing.

For violin and bow makers, this new space will allow them to promote their profession, thanks to what is considered to be an original showcase. Within this space for exchanges, violin and bow makers will have a place to forge links with musicians, meet teachers, historians and thus enrich their network and their skills and pass on their knowledge.

  • A residency of a few weeks or months
  • Realization of a precise project that corresponds to the objectives of the structure and that is enriched by the exchanges that the T&V House can bring to it.
  • Examples: making an instrument/bow related to a particular type of research, making an instrument for a competition, making an instrument/bow for T&V, particular stage of instrument copying, the making an instrument by several people.

When the instrument was completed, the cello was lent to a young talented musician from the association.
