For artistic development,
a talented young violinist, viola player or cellist needs to play on a quality instrument made by a first rate violinmaker… a dream that is too often unattainable, because good quality instruments are very expensive, whether they are newly built or old.
Improvement with time,
a stringed instrument needs to be played regularly… Its sound qualities blossom harmoniously when it is played several hours a day by a musician with good technical skills. When it is isolated and silent, the instrument does not better itself.
This is why Talents & Violon’celles
makes it possible for up-and-coming young talent to come into contact with violins, violas and cellos from the cream of French violin makers. Talents & Violon’celles lends these young talents the quality instruments that are entrusted to us, that we have acquired or have commissioned, with the help of private or institutional sponsors. A major obstacle to the improvement and development of young musicians is thereby removed.
This balanced and coherent project
brings together violin makers, philanthropic donors and talented musicians in a virtuous, dynamic loop, with a promise of shared excellence and sustainability. The instruments made at the initiative of Talents & Violon’celles will be played by several generations of musicians.
