La Caisse d’Epargne Languedoc Roussillon

As a regional cooperative bank serving its inhabitants, its territory and its economic protagonists, the Caisse d’Epargne Languedoc Roussillon has granted over 7 billion euros in 3 years to support the economic and social development of its region.

It is also a different kind of bank, distinguished by a sustainable and proactive corporate social responsibility policy. In 15 years, it has subsidised more than a thousand projects for a total of 28 million euros. The bank also supports everything that creates value for its territory, and thus supports culture in all its forms:

  • Music : the bank supports the Carcassonne Festival, Fiesta Sète, Radio France, etc.
  • Art : it is also a patron of the Fabre Museum in Montpellier…
  • Literature and the Mediterranean : the Caisse d’Epargne has been a partner, since its creation 30 years ago, of the Mediterranean Prize for Literature, which rewards authors from all of the Mediterranean countries.

To celebrate its 200th anniversary, it has chosen to embark on a project that will mark its next 200 years. A project in line with its values of transmitting skills and promoting talent. A magnificent project pursued in the company of “Talents & Violon’celles”.

In 2018, the Caisse d’Epargne Languedoc Roussillon acquired a cello made by one of the greatest French luthiers, Frédéric Chaudière from Montpellier.
